Engineering
The engineering process at AllFab begins
with a review of all customer-supplied documents for manufacturability
to specifications and estimation/quotation of the part or
project. Normally quotes can be turned in 1-4 working days,
depending on the complexity and number of parts submitted.
During this review we can provide you with cost reduction
input and design for manufacturability review if desired.
Upon order placement we reverse engineer from customer supplied
print documentation and files using ProEngineer, SOLID WORKS
and AutoCAD as our primary CAD tools. Having the ProEngineer
or SOLID WORKS model greatly expedites your order through
the engineering process. It also minimizes the opportunity
for redraw error, increasing first piece accuracy. We use
ToPs 300 and Metalsoft as our primary CAM tools. CNC programs
are generated and fiber-optically downloaded to CNC machine
controls via shop floor computers.
Our engineers are ready to assist you with your next requirement
for precision sheet metal fabrication. You can send us your
drawings and quote request via email, from our Request a Quote
web page, or by uploading your files to our ftp site (registered
users only).
